Job Description

As an intermediate practitioner, you will actively participate in multi-disciplinary regional and national teams, working on a variety of environmental impact assessment and permitting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical input on a variety of permitting, regulatory and environmental impact assessment tasks.
Work on multiple projects, to support execution of scope/budget/schedule to meet quality standards on project deliverables.
Execute activities such as permit application scoping and information requirements, technical writing, data and regulatory research and review, collection and integration of input from subject matter experts
Support typical project assignments which include researching regulatory or technical requirements, and writing reports and proposals
Leading environmental impact assessments

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Biology or Environmental Science, or related field
5+ years of experience, including prior experience with federal and provincial environmental impact assessments
Some project management experience
Expertise with Federal and/or Provincial and Territorial regulations and guidelines
Ability to function in a team setting, accept responsibility, and work to deadlines
