The Opportunity
Global Finance delivers most ongoing finance activities from outsourced providers. The KPMG resources in Global Finance are focused on providing value added activities which can only be delivered from within the firm.
Global Finance is responsible for managing all financial budgeting and reporting for KPMG International and its subsidiaries. This includes the following: Levy and collection, Payable and disbursements, Management and financial reporting, Direct and indirect taxes and Treasury functions.

The Opportunity

Global Finance is responsible for managing all financial budgeting and reporting for KPMG International and its subsidiaries. This includes the following: Levy and collection, Payable and disbursements, Management and financial reporting, Direct and indirect taxes and Treasury functions.
What you will do
- F inancial reporting including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities
- Operational finance support
- Work closely with finance business partners and finance operations team to manage and monitor prepayment balances throughout the year.
- Cost center creation, maintenance of chart of accounts and alternate cost center structure, perform timely review of the user access report on a monthly basis, review super user access report on a monthly basis, complete timely updates of the approval matrix.
- Intercompany reconciliation and elimination:
- On a quarterly basis and at year end, oversee the intercompany reconciliation and elimination process.
- Technical accounting support (including capitalization of intangibles)
- Assist with analysis of technical accounting matters on an ad hoc basis, including collating of data from relevant stakeholders, reviewing agreements and preparing initial drafts of memorandum
- Assist with collating data on capitalizable costs from liaising with various finance business partners, project leads and sponsoring partners.
- Preparation of subsidiary and other related entity accounting records and financial statements, including assistance with year-end audit
- Leadership & management of Ad-Hoc projects
What you bring to the role
- Undergraduate degree in business or finance or accounting
- Professional accounting designation
- At least 3 to 5 years of financial accounting experience preferably in a large multinational environment
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Strong accounting and finance skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Advance Excel proficiency
