Site Description: Halifax Stanfield is Atlantic Canada's principal full-service airport providing passengers and cargo clients with direct access to markets across Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean Basin, Europe, and Asia. Halifax Stanfield offers Canada Customs services on a 24-hour, seven day a week basis, and it's the only airport in Atlantic Canada with U.S. preclearance and International to Domestic processing facilities. The Airport is a major economic generator, contributing $3.8 billion annually to the provincial economy pre-pandemic. In 2020, Halifax Stanfield served 995,000 passengers and processed nearly 33,000 metric tonnes of cargo.
Job Description:
A Pass Control Office Administrator is responsible for the security and administrative duties of the Airport Pass Control Office. Duties include RAIC application reviews, pass control, fingerprinting, and providing customer service to the public and airport community. The Pass Control Office also provides administrative assistance to the Security Office Assistant with baggage storage, lost and found, key control, and visitor pass sign out.
The Pass Control Office Administrator reports directly to the Security Services Manager. This position will work M-F between the hours of 6:00 am - 11:00 pm.
Criteria:
•Excellent communication and customer service skills.
•Administrative training or equivalent experience
•Computer Proficiency
•Ability to multi-task
•Good attention to detail
•Ability to work under pressure

•Valid RAIC through Transport Canada
•Security License through the NS Department Of Justice
•Additional online courses as required
